You’re both wrong and right.
While aphasia is more commonly related to strokes, primary progressive aphasia is less common but is a form of frontotemporal dementia and shares some overlap with other conditions such as Alzheimer’s.
To my knowledge they haven’t stated what kind he has, if it was caused by a stroke, etc.
